The Park Players Theatre Company at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park and 88.1 the Park are partnering to produce and air radio dramas. Through working together they’ve aired “Frankenstein” and “Vintage Hitchcock” and will air “A Christmas Carol” later this month. 88.1 the Park’s Daniel Schoenherr spoke with one of the Directors of the Park Players, Paul Bird, about the opportunity to work with the radio station.

The Penn Theatre reopened in October with safety guidelines in place. But after small crowds came out for their annual Shocktober series, the Friends of the Penn have made the tough decision to stop showing movies and return to curbside concessions. 88.1 the Park’s Daniel Schoenherr spoke with the Penn Theatre’s Executive Director, Ellen Elliott, about the decision.

Women’s Sports Spotlight – November 2, 2020
88.1 the Park’s Co-Sports Director, Evie Cadotte, spotlights the Volleyball teams at Canton, Plymouth and Salem High Schools. She talks with players from each team as they look back at their season.
Community Focus – October 28, 2020
88.1 the Park is interviewing candidates for the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Board of Education during Community Focus. The interviews will air each Wednesday until the election.
88.1 the Park’s , Daniel Schoenherr, spoke with Sebastien Ostertag and Anupam Chugh Sidhu about their candidacy for the board. There are 12 candidates running for four seats on the board.
