DTE presents The 88.1 the Park Benefit Concert with Grace West – September 18, 2025
88.1 the Park is pleased to welcome Nashville based Recording Artist and former Canton resident, Grace West, for a special fundraising concert to support the station’s Amplification Capital Campaign and studio renovation. The concert is presented through the support of DTE.
The concert is Thursday September 18, in the Apex Room at Plymouth’s newest fine dining restaurant, Chicane (885 Starkweather). Tickets are $50, $75 for VIP tickets.
Grace was a season 23 finalist on NBC’s “The Voice.” She is a 2021 graduate of Plymouth High School, where she was part of the Plymouth-Educational Park Choir. Her current single, “Quarter Back,” is receiving airplay on 88.1 the Park. The station also played her previous single, “90s Country Song.”
A modern country-pop artist with timeless twang, Grace West was just 12 years old when she picked up her grandfather’s guitar and strummed her first song. Music had always been a daily part of her life, from the gospel songs she sang in the church choir to the Motown classics that rang throughout her family’s Detroit-area home. Even so, something changed the day Grace began making music of her own, sparking a meteoric career that would soon see her signing a publishing deal as a teenager, relocating to Nashville shortly after graduation, and creating a sound that blended northern roots with southern living.
“We’ve been a big fan of Grace, even before she was on The Voice,” said Bill Keith, Station Manager of 88.1 the Park. “It’s not uncommon for us to get emails from listeners wondering ‘who’s behind that voice.’ We’re excited to present this special concert that will raise much needed money for our Amplification Capital Campaign and studio renovation. With her hometown roots, generous soul, and amazing voice, Grace West is the perfect artist to showcase at this important community event.”
