88.1 the Park is the 2018 MABF High School Station of the Year

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation presented 88.1 the Park with the 2018 High School Station of the Year Award. The MABF also honored 11 Plymouth-Canton Educational Park students in their annual High School and College Awards Competition. The MABF presented the awards during the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference and Expo on Wednesday March 7, 2018 in Lansing.

P-CEP students received 12 of the 29 awards presented in the high school radio category, including four first place awards in the 10 categories. 88.1 has received the Station of the Year Award seven times since 2001.

“Our students worked so hard this year and we couldn’t be prouder of their success,” said Bill Keith, Station Manager.

The MABF received nearly 410 High School entries from 19 schools in the radio and television competition.

The MAB Foundation is dedicated to promote, support and enhance the broadcast

industry for the good of all Michigan citizens, through education, research, public service, historical
