88.1 the Park Staff Member of the Month – May 2017

Congratulations to Amanda Barberena.  She was the overwhelming choice for Staff Member of the Month at 88.1 the Park.

Amanda has been the station’s Program Director for the past year.  She is also the recipient of the John Seidelman Scholarship, which is one of three scholarships the station presents each year.  She was also honored with the WXYZ Broadcasting Scholarship at the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference earlier this year.  She will be attending Michigan State University in the Fall and will be studying broadcasting.

“Amanda could win staff member of the month every month,” said Bill Keith, Station Manager.  “She has made a tremendous impact at the station.  Her legacy of leadership will be felt for quite awhile.  I know she will do great things at Michigan State and I look forward to hearing about all of her success.”
