Alexandra Burgett Memorial Golf Outing – August 18, 2018

Alexandra Burgett was a 2007 graduate of Salem High School. She was tragically killed in a car accident, just before she graduated from Western Michigan University. The driver that caused the accident was distracted as he looked for his wallet.

Alexandra’s family has created a memorial golf outing to fund scholarships at Western Michigan University. In addition, a portion of the funds for this year’s outing will go to the P-CEP Orchestra and 88.1 the Park, two programs Alex was part of.

They will also be supporting the Gift of Life Foundation. Through organ donation Alex was able to save the lives of and/or improve the lives of five people, one of them being a 14 year old girl with a fatal heart condition who is now in her first year of college.

The outing is Saturday August 18, at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center in Plymouth. The shotgun start will kick off at 8:30 a.m. The outing includes a continental breakfast, luncheon, and auction. You can get more information at 734-454-5739.
