Congratulations to Zain Omair. Zain, a Canton Junior, is 88.1 The Park’s January 2016 Staff Member of the Month.
Zain was recognized for her hard work on our news staff and her dedication to her weekly radio show.
“We are lucky to have Zain on our staff,” said Bill Keith, Station Manager, “She often covers for other staff members, comes in early to get her news reports filed, and is quickly becoming one of our best DJ’s. She always gives her best on everything she does for the station.”

Midha Mashhood speaks with Eva Davis, the Director of the Canton Public Library and the Co-Chair of the Canton Response to Hate Crime Coalition, about the Get To Know Your Muslim Neighbor event that the library is hosting on Saturday February 27. Those who attend will be able to practice calligraphy, get removeable Henna tattoos, sample Arab food and talk with Muslim residents of Canton.
