Quick Pass Carwash will present The 88.1 the Park Auction on Saturday May 16, from 9am to 9pm. Every half-hour you can bid on great items donated by local businesses including restaurant gift cards, sports memorabilia, golf outings and much more. Most importantly, all of the proceeds will benefit 88.1 the Park, our student radio program.
We’ll also have a Dream Board of special items available for bidding all day long.
Local businesses and residents still have time to support the student radio station by donating items. Businesses that donate can benefit from the exposure they will receive on 88.1 The Park. Most importantly, they will be helping a program that has impacted the lives of students and served the Plymouth-Canton community for 54 years. Community Focus – May 6, 2026
orsa credit union is partnering with Laura Killingbeck, renowned adventurer and author, as she rides a bike from the Upper Peninsula to Detroit to raise awareness and support for survivors of domestic and economic abuse in Michigan. The tour will take place from May 20 – July 20. 88.1 the Park’s, Claudia Fisher, spoke with Killingbeck about her love for the outdoors and the importance of this tour.

Women’s Sports Spotlight – May 4, 2026
This month’s Women’s Sports Spotlight will focus on the tennis teams at Canton, Plymouth and Salem High School. 88.1 the Park’s Sports Director, Jakob Muncy, is joined by Jace Jamison and Brady Beauchamp. They talked with Salem’s Apurvasai Lakshmanan, Canton’s Alyssa Mocanu and Plymouth’s Harmony Purwadihardja.
