Max Kuang interviews Mike Matthissen, President of the Tournament of Roses Parade. He was in town to visit with the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park Marching Band prior to their performance in the 2016 Rose Parade. He also appeared at their fundraiser on May 15, 2015 at the Henry Ford Museum. They talked about the history of the parade, the challenge of selecting bands and some of the experiences the Plymouth-Canton Marching Band will have as they visit Pasadena.

Tori Brown interviews LaNesha DeBardelaben, Vice President of Assessment and Community Engagement for the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. This was the final interview of our diversity series that looked at the diversity of the Plymouth and Canton area. They talked about the museum’s role in the community.

Allison Del Proposto interviews Nancy Eggenberger about the Giving Hope Women’s Giving Circle in Canton. Nancy is a former school board member for the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools and she is a founding member of the giving circle.

Akshay Bansal interviews Shri Prasad Ishwara, the Senior Priest for the Hindu Temple in Canton. They talked about the Hindu Temple’s role in the community and how he serves the local Hindu community. This is the fifth interview in a series on diversity in the Plymouth-Canton Community.
