Relay for Life in Canton and Plymouth recently joined together to plan for a combined relay on May 20, 2017.  Rebekah McBride spoke with Megan Schaper, Relay for Life Community Manager, about her work with the American Cancer Society and the upcoming Relay for Life.

Bill Keith spoke with former Canton Township Supervisor Tom Yack.  They talked about Tom’s career in politics that began when he served on the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Board of Education.  Tom also served as Canton Township Supervisor for 20 years and as Canton Township Trustee.

Saba Mangla spoke with the newly appointed Executive Director of Project Healthy Community, Amina Iqbal.   Ms. Iqbal is a Canton resident and she was the Operations Director for the Michigan Muslim Community Council. Project Healthy Community is a non-profit that is working to improve the lives of residents of Northwest Detroit.
