Community Focus – 3/22/23

The Plymouth-Canton Community Schools have welcomed two new Safety and Security Officers, Echo and his handler Scott Hughesdon. Echo is a golden lab that will be used for detection and dual purpose of providing comfort for students. Echo is currently completing his training in detection and obedience and he’s beginning to visit schools. Echo was named after Ed Jagst, a Canton police officer who was killed in 2021. Jagst’s radio call sign was Echo 52. 88.1 the Park’s Public Affairs Director, Avneet Pandher, talked with Echo’s partner, Scott Hughesdon.
