Community Focus – December 6, 2023

Canton resident, David Hammond, founded Creating Habitats for Pollinators locally and throughout the country.  Over the last 5 years, Creating Habitats for Pollinators has been responsible for over a dozen plantings in Plymouth and Canton as well as plantings in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Kentucky.  Those plantings included several elementary schools.  Creating Habitats for Pollinators has also served as a consultant for wildflower planting projects in New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.   88.1 the Park’s, Anya Read, spoke with Hammond about their work and plans for the future.
