Community Focus – December 8, 2021

The Michigan State University Sociolinguistics Lab developed MI Diaries to document changes in lives and language of people living in Michigan during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.  Kids, teens and adults across the state respond to weekly diary prompts with audio recordings.  88.1 the Park’s Avneet Pandher, talked with Project Lead and Michigan State Professor, Betsy Sneller, about the program.  She also talked with two student youth interns, Kierstin and Anuya, about their experience working with MI Diaries.
