Community Focus – February 14, 2018

88.1 the Park is celebrating it’s 46th birthday today.  WSDP signed on the air February 14, 1972 at Noon with a mission to provide broadcast training for students and to serve the Plymouth-Canton Community.  88.1 the Park’s Public Affairs Director, Saba Mangla, spoke with WSDP Alum Rob Milford and Station Manager Bill Keith.  Rob was part of the class that signed the station on the air and he graduated in 1973.  Since leaving the campus he has enjoyed a 44+ year career in radio.
