Community Focus – March 3, 2021

Salem Senior, Sophie Jeffers, is leading an effort to change the Canton High School Mascot.  The student group she leads recently presented a proposal to the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Board of Education.  88.1 the Park’s Daniel Schoenherr recently spoke with her about the motivations for this student led effort, as well as their support from tribal groups in Michigan.
