Community Focus – May 29, 2019

The Kids Coalition Against Hunger has been packaging meals for people in need since 1998, when it was known as the Kids Advancing Hope Coalition.  They are known in the Plymouth-Canton area because of the Greater Plymouth Service Project which packages food at Plymouth Arts & Recreation Complex in May.  The impact of these food packages reaches around the world into conflict zones and areas dealing with famine.  88.1 the Park’s News Director, Alivia Wiacek, spoke with Michael Burwell, Michigan Director of Kids Coalition Against Hunger, about their work making a difference in the world.
