Community Focus – September 3, 2025

Grace West began singing at a young age.  She was a member of school choirs during her time in Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.  She began writing songs and picked up the guitar while in Elementary School.  After graduating from Plymouth High School she moved to Nashville and became a finalist on NBC’s The Voice. You’ve heard her songs, 90s Country Song and Quarter Back, on 88.1 the Park.  The station is pleased to welcome her back for a special benefit concert on Thursday September 18, at Chicane in Plymouth.  88.1 the Park’s Claudia Fisher, had a chance to talk with Grace about her passion for music, the importance of Canton and Plymouth and her career writing songs and performing.
