Moments with Merritt – November 2016
The Regional Education Enhancement Millage proposes a levy of 2 mills of tax for six years, with the proceeds going to the 33 school districts in Wayne County, based on each district’s student enrollment. Wayne County voters will decide whether to approve this millage during the November 8, election.
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools Superintendent, Monica Merritt, spoke with Dr. Jeremy Hughes, Chief Academic Officer for the district, Nick Brandon, Director of Communications, and Corrin Stamatakos, a parent volunteer, about the millage and how the proceeds would be used to support the district.
The show will air live on 88.1 the Park on Tuesday November 1 and 8, at 5:40 p.m.
