Staff Members of the Month – September 2018

Congratulations to Maddie Turrill and Jack Withers.  They are 88.1 the Park’s Staff Members of the Month for September.

Maddie is a Canton Junior.  Her hard work at 88.1 the Park is paying off with improvements in the quality of her on-air show and news writing.  88.1 the Park’s Assistant Manager, John Kreger, commended her when he said, “She always wants to learn.”  In addition to her work at the station she also serves as an intern for In the Band Music Appreciation Studio at Plymouth Arts & Recreation Complex.

Jack Withers is a Plymouth Senior and is one of the station’s best news writers.  Jack is also on the air as a DJ on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is a very gifted announcer.  88.1 the Park Assistant Manager, John Kreger, said, “The kid is getting sneaky good at writing.”

“We are lucky to have Maddie and Jack on our staff.  They always work hard to make the station better,” said Bill Keith, Station Manager.
